Pashupati temple is a famous and sacred Hindu temple which is located on the banks of the Bagmati River, Nepal. It is the oldest Hindu temple in Kathmandu. Pashupati means Lord of animals, Shiva. Pashupatinath is one of the most prime religious sites in Asia for allot of Lord Shiva. It was built in the 5th century and later renovated by Malla kings. The temple serves as the seat of Nepal’s national celestial being, Lord Pashupatinath.
